Can Anyone Confirm What Leather Colours The Is Came In?

Is anyone able to confirm what leather colours the IS had?

As daft as it sounds I'm not sure whether mine is black or dark grey???

I'm going to buy some leather restorer as they are starting to look worn but I'm unsure whether they have lightened from black slightly due to weather/sunlight etc or whether they were a dark grey in the first place?????

I've owned two IS200's, first one was black half leather, current one cream half leather. The suede on these went slightly lighter over time but my last IS was a '51 plate and leather was still undoubtedly black after 10 years.. hope this helps

The leather seats only came in two colours, black and cream. So if it's not cream, yours are (or used to be) black :)

It really weird because depending on the light it sometimes projects as Black other times as grey. both driver and passenger shows more greyish in mine but the back seats looks black not sure if the factory rear tints makes it look so .

Totally agree with you. In direct sunlight I can swear they are a light black/dark grey. The rears do look a lot darker as they are in better nick.
