Just tinted my front lights and fogs... I thought they would look awful ... but taken the cheap price of the material I did not mind playing about lol

So here it is and I must admit I like it a lot ... looks much much better than expected.

I do not know how long it will last though... but I have enough material for two more applications if I like to.

PS.1 .... I know I know the car is filthy.... but I am out of energy these days and it just came out on the road today after I spent time servicing it lol

PS.2 .... I also know the application of the material is not 100% smooth... but it is my first attempt ;)

Looking good.

A few questions:

- How does this affect the light output?

- Did you retrofit those angel eyes yourself or get it done from somewhere?

Hi Exdee

The angel eyes I have fitted them my self, just bought them on eBay and then when I had time removed the lights and did the installation. Took half day in total.

The perforated film, I will not lie it does recuce the output by about 10% ... but I do not know how bad it will be on halogen lights. Mine being the factory standard HID look fine.

And at the end of the day it is just a self adhesive film ... can be removed at any point and wipe off the glue residue with some cream :) :) only cost me £10 and I only used half the film.

Thanks for your reply. Your retrofit has given me hope, that some day I'll be brave enough to transform my headlights.

It's all just an idea ;) hehehe. Go on there are some nice days out there.

Here are some pics from the Angel Eyes installation.

However as I found out afterwards... can remove the lights without removing the bumper...

The angel eyes do take a while to reach to max brightness in the cold weather ... after a couple of mins they are bright.

Thanks for the pictures. I am probably going to go for the LED angel eyes so won't have the dimming issue. My bigger concern is retrofitting the projector. I hate the crappy oem projectors on my car and want the following setup on my car.

mmm projectors from an RX... it the step by step guide seems simple enough.

But if the IS is your only ride, I guess you have no time to experiment and play about :(
