I have purchased a is220d se-i 09 plate and not sure if i need an update ffor the sat nav. Does anyone know how regular the discs are upgraded and where i could get one?

Hello,I think they are updated every year,you could pm ACLex and he should be able to get you one or lexusmapudates or you could try cheaptoyotaparts or maybe flea bay(although you will need to know the part number/serial number).hope this helps.

Chances are you have a DVD based sat nav and not the hdd which came in 2010. The Lexus DvDs are 2005, quite old, and they were putting them in the is until 2010. There is a 2010 update which now recognises some new roads plus the new 17 EU countries that joined in 2005. Buy it from Lexus Europe, and get instructions here on how to change the DVD,otherwise the dealer will fleece you for an additional couple of hundred quid. Good luck with new car ,

The part number that you require is PZ445-X03EU-0C It is really easy to change the DVD over, just follow the instructions in the manual and as BosniaLexus says you will save yourself a few quid.
