hi again thank you for your email but you mentioned something wanted turning off can you please explain as i i am new to the club thank you ps i have been quoted from lexus 0f hull for 5 ltrs of toyota type t-1v transmission oil @ £61.75 for the 5 ltrs they only sell it in that quantity and the filter for the same is £73-84 i do not know wat they would charge if i gave them the job have you any suggestions thank you for you time.

Welcome to LOC. Why not ask them for a quote. What is wrong with the oil currently in your g/box?

if it isn't nice and red then ideally you want a full transmission flush by somebody who knows what they are doing. Just doing a drain of the pan and refill isn't good enough as more than 50% of the fluid will remain the the transmission system and cooler.

You can do multiple drains of the pan to really dilute the old fluid but it isn't as good and you will end up using a lot of fluid which isn't cheap.
