Rear Upper Suspension Arm

I am getting a creaking/groaning noise as I drive my 1999 LS400 over humps and uneven ground. My local

small independent garage says it is the 'passenger side rear upper suspension arm' Does that sound right ?

He says Lexus want about £208 plus VAT for the part and then the fitting would be another £150 ish

Any help gratefully received

It could be, but there are more bushes in the back suspension than this one and any one of them could be groaning they usually groan if they are dry not worn and a liberal amount of wd40 sprayed in all the suspension arm bushes both ends may help before you spend £400 and find it is not that one.

Mine always creaks at the front when the car is cold but it disappears when warmed up, never had an MOT problem.

Seen this a few times on fleabay
