Tte Supercharger?

Hi friends can anybody tell me is the supercharger kit from TTE when instaling it needs any type of tuning the ecu?

You can't - it was discontinued years ago. Every now and again they come up for sale second hand, and cost about £2,000

For me, the £2000 price tag isn't worth a 50-60bhp power boost. You're better off selling the 200 and buying an IS300 - essentially the same car, few extra little perks, and a 3L naturally aspirated Supra (2JZ) engine under the hood, with 211bhp and 212lb/ft torque as standard

Kinda my thinking really but when you come to sell it, you will get your money back on the charger anyway. So you could buy it, have some fun and then flog it and youve not lost anything

If you want SC for your 200...

Buy the whole supercharged car (they go around 4000+ EUR for automatic).

Swap it to your car, sell the automatic one for 3000 EUR (or maybe 3500, depends on market)

1000 eur for SC and all whats needed

^ Someone over on OJC managed to pick up an IS200 owned by someone important at Janspeed, complete with Janspeed supercharger kit (which is a TTE kit rebadged), swapped it all over to his own 200, then sold the Janspeed car off for £800 less than he paid for it - £800 for a full S/C kit!

Ive just found this one on gumtree £1800 and its been on there 14 days and its nothing to do with me
