Is300 Armrest Bracket!

Hi guys, bought an is300 raised arm rest online from a scrappy (the auction for the car was on eBay, I phoned up and paid for the part over the phone) and when it arrived everything was there minus the hinge bracket. After about a month of them fobbing me off they are now saying it must have been lost in the post and That if I can source another one they will refund me the difference. My question is, any idea where I could get one in the UK? I've tried countless breakers yards but they don't have it in stock.

Hmm these are probably rare as hens teeth to get hold of. The only thing i can suggest is sourcing in the US.

Which part are you talking about? The actual hinge? The bolt that secures it to the frame? Or the frame? You can get any of the parts from Lexus here in the UK, but you'll need to identify which part it is so someone can get you a part number, and thus a price

There is a thread somewhere that shows all the part numbers for the armrest.

Find that and get it from Lexus. Won't be cheap but your not paying!

Sorry for the late reply guys, I didnt get any notifications for the thread! The part im after is the actual frame, its annoying as ive got everything else...even the magnet cover! Ive been busy fitting my screen/reversing camera as of late but now thats all done ill consentrate on getting this arm rest sorted! Anyone got any decent parts websites? I dont mind buying from the USA or anything like that!

Then go to your local Lexus dealer and get them to order the part.

Just go to a Lexus dealer. They'll ID the part and give you the part # and price, you get back on to the guys you bought it from, have them order it and send it to you. Simple. Why over complicate things by looking to buy from other countries, or spend months looking for that lone part on it's own (which is very very unlikely, as the rest is useless without it)

Thanks for the info, I'll phone my local dealer and brace myself for the quote! To be honest I didn't think it would be as simple as that with the car being so old now! Thanks for all your help guys!

give this guy a ring, I bought my armrest from him, he is a lexus breaker so it's worth a shot :)
