Blue Dash

Ok so part 1 of my blue dash transformation starts today.

Doing the dials and clocks today then the harder more complicated centre console unit tomorrow or next weekend if I decide I like the blue. I'll post some pics up later so you guys can let me know what you think :)

Clocks and ignition barrel done. I love the blue ignition barrel, that is staying 100%.

The clocks however I'm not completely happy with. They are a lot darker (obviously) and the needles no longer as bright as they were and I can't read the odometer properly. Also the half way mark on the fuel gauge is very bright, almost white. I'm gonna take it all out again tomorrow and re arrange the bulbs to see if it makes any difference. So not going to tackle the centre console bulbs yet, I'll live with the blue clocks for a week and see if it grows on me or I can get it a bit brighter.

If you buy new or change colour, i found ones from Crazyleds are the best ones to use. I buy all my leds from him.

ive done my dials but didnt get an ignition barrel LED. where did you get that from and what type is it. I did know just completely forgot

Haven't done an ign barrel on a lexus, so couldn't have helped sorry, only done my clocks so far.

Blue dash is long gone, hated it after a while!

Got this now instead. I like it, much better :)

Well done Chris - good work. I have gone the blue route before - its very difficult to read at night.

In my opinion, the white LEDs look best
