My engine warning light and notice of check VSC cam on a few days ago then went off. Now the car won't start at all! Has been juddering too, by judder I mean if you accelerate then take foot of pedal then straight back on it hard it judders. If you get what I mean lol

There should be stored codes in the ECU memory so a decent OBDII read should provide useful information as to the possible causes.

When you say the car won't start at all is the engine turning over but not firing up or not even cranking?

Did the judder you experience sound like a misfire?

It's turning over and just not firing up. Don't make a misfire noise it just judders

Well there's no spark involved with it being a diesel so that leaves either an air,fuel or compression problem.

As I previously mentioned you need the stored codes read before going any further.

If you are a breakdown service member I would start with a call to them,they will also arrange transport of the car to the garage if they can't fix it on site.

I had a starting problem with my Toyota Avensis diesel just before I bought my Lexus IS220d. The starter motor was slack, moving about 5mm. It did start now and then but was poor. Might be worth grabbing it to see if it is slack.
