Hey Guys, Ive Found This Thread And Im Needing Help Along The Same Lin

Recommended Posts

Hi there, i found this thread about dash lights dimmer not working and saying something about a dimmer relay and also something to do with tail light fuse!?. I have the same problem but... my ignition ring bulb and also the dome light doesn't do anything when set to "door", But if set to "on" it works fine the car was upgraded with LEDs in dash and center dash before i bought it, but have been told this would not effect it.

I would like to know if this dimmer relay is real and also if the tail fuse has anything to do with this aswell. Any help would be a big help as it has been in my head ever since buying the car. thank you in advance

As far as I'm aware, the dimming of the dash light bulbs is handled by the rheostat. That's the adjustable knob down by the steering column. However, if you've got LED dash bulbs that may explain why they don't dim. They don't react the same to a rheostat as a filament bulb does.
