Reversing Sensors

Really pleased with the new Sportcross, feel right at home with it already.

The one thing I forgot to check was the rear parking sensors and my luck wasn't in as they don't seem to work. I know the dealer I bought it from would look at it for me but it's a 230 mile round trip and to be honest I'd rather investigate it myself rather than mess about with driving all the way back there. It's not a major problem but it would be nice to get them working if I can.

Has anyone experienced similar problems with them or any idea as to what may be wrong?

I looked in the manual and it mentioned some were fitted with an optional on/off switch but a quick search in the rear hasn't revealed anything so any suggestions would be welcomed.

Can u track the sensors , than its should lead u to the unit, sorry if I couldn't must.

Cheers Panya......I've checked the outer sensors in case they were blocked but no joy so I think I will need to get this looked at as car electrics are not my thing. I have a mate who is very good with electrics but is really busy so this might have to wait, in the meantime I will continue to poke around for a cause/solution.
