Well, I really seem to have raised some strong comments and views re 'webuyanycar'.

From the correspondence I note that a number of SC live North of Birmingham and wondered if there was sufficient interest in this part of the country for a meet and chat?

I live in North Yorkshire and would be prepared to travel any reasonable distance.

Thats two Yorkshire SC owners - I am sure that there are many more but perhaps not Club members.

If either owners fancy a meet and chat I can make most times (retired) and very happy to drive to a suitable venue. I live near Richmond and regularly enjoy both moors and dales. Harrogate also has several decent meet-up spots. Over to you.

I take it all back re we buy any car.

Our SC replaced an SLK and we had struggled to get interest on eBay. I checked wbac on recommendation of a friend and was staggered at the good price offered. I took it down within the hour and they revised it down only 100 quids for some stone chips and door scuffs. Very pleasant experience actually and came away a happy with more money than i would have accepted yesterday

Providing the dosh turns up in my bank on Thursday, and i have no doubt it will, i will take a large bite out of my hat
