Newbie. Interior Light Bulb Search

I've just taken ownership of a 2001 IS200 SE in black and i love it.

The only thing i have found on the whole car that doesn't work as it should is the front interior light.

I've tried 3 local motor factors but none of them keep the bulbs, i looked in Halfords on saturday, when i was buying a stereo to fill the big hole in the dash, and they didn't have any either.

I don't want to fit an LED one bit i will if i have to.

So recommendations please :D

Just order the correct bulb over the internet for pennys, eBay or any car parts or bulb website

As Pete says ,theres many on eBay to choose from and in many colours too.Mike ive got a black car and the worst problem is keeping the blooming thing clean.

I'd recommend a 30mm White SMD bulb, you can get them off eBay for pennys and it really does make a difference inside the car, especially if you lose something down the sides of the seat!

Hello something to remember - the front interior light doesn't work with the doors

It would seem that the bulb might not be at fault. I bought a 5w one to try and the switch is a bit hit and miss.

So i'm now on the lookout for a front interior light assembly.
