Jingling Noise

I have got a really annoying jingling noise which sounds like a cow bell! coming from the rear right wheel, I have had the heat shield looked at and it has been screwed into place as it was falling apart but still the jingling is happening! It is very apparent when you go over a bump but pretty much you can hear it a lot, does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Thanks

Could be the brake pads rattling about. Easiest way to check is keep your foot lightly on the brake pedal when hitting the bumps you know will replicate the sound, if it stops then it's the brakes and it's most likely due to the anti-rattle clip missing.

yeah doesnt sound like the clips, they full on rattle if not present. never heard of a bell type noise before! sounds like something obvious have you have a poke about?

I've had that problem.. Turned out to be the carrier that hold the brake pads tight and also hand brake shoes were shot. I changed the handbrake shoes but still had slight rattle so took the split pin out of caliper removed the carrier and gave it a lil bend in the way to make it longer if u no what I mean so when I put it back in it was a tight fit.. No rattles now :)
