Back To Lexus ?

Hi all , sold my Lexus LS400 1998 good few yrs ago , since then I've had

Jag xj8 4.0 no problems at all

BMW 750il individual £700 of repairs in 3 yr of ownership

Merc CL500 currently on eBay , nothing but trouble ! Over £1,700 in repairs in 4,000 miles

Car only has 74,000 on it !

Been looking at jag xj8 , Audi A8, BMW 745li and LS430

My question is after reading on here about LS430 , are they any more reliable than the cars listed above ?

Currently looking at a silver one , black leather, 99,000 miles up for £3,450.00

I think the problem is that you'll often read about the things that go wrong and they stay in your mind, but not so much about the things that go right. I know someone who has an LS430 with high miles, he says he's never had a problem. Pot luck I guess.

I have heard the Audi gearboxs are very unreliable , had two BMWs cost me a fortune , but i do love them , still have two LS400s love them to.

In terms of reliability, Lexus all the way. I think the car you are looking at is over-priced though.
