I have 220D that suffers with condensation on the inslde of the windscreen, the car can be on the drive and not moved for a few days but when i do want to take it out i have to wait for the screen to clear.

I have checked the carpets and these are dry so there should not be moisture inside the car.

I was wondering if any of you lads have any ideas or should the heater controls be set a particular way?

cheers

I had a similar problem with mine after I changed the cabin filter. I forgot to turn the climate off re circulation. For some reason this causes my car to have condensation, not a big problem though as I don't use the re circulation anyway (unless I forget!)

Mine is the same, if I leave for more than 4 days the screen is dripping on the inside. I have been informed that the reason is the car is so well insulated once the doors are closed that any condensation this time of year will naturally form on the screen. I intend to buy one of those salt trays that you can buy for caravans to sit in the rear foot well while I'm away when the car is parked up at work for long durations. This will soak up the moisture naturally in the air.
