1000 Miles - 2 Days In Is200

Hi All!

As stated in the subject, I wanted to share my experience with my 2001 Lexus IS200.

Sunday - Left for Essen, Germany from London.

Monday - Essen, Germany to Dussoldorf, Germany

Monday - Dusseldorf, Germany to Essen, Germany

Monday - Essen, Germany to Amsterdam, Netherlands

Tuesday - Amsterdam, Netherlands to Essen Germany

Tuesday - Essen, Germany to London, UK

I started at: 48597 miles and ended at: 49559 miles.

This car is without a doubt incredible. Not 1 hiccup, not 1 issue. It cost £70 to get to Germany, £40 to Amsterdam and back, then another £70 to get back.

I'm wondering if anyone else has gone this? I definately recommend it!!

On the way in the Channel tunnel, I was lucky enough to see a LEXUS LFA!

Hello Guys,

last June my wife and I along with some friends went on a road trip from Norfolk, down past London, along the south coast, up through Wales and back to Norfolk via the Peak District. We covered 1000 miles in 4 days and the LS400 behaved perfectly for the whole trip. My friends were in a Honda S2000 and they broke their record for the most consecutive miles with the roof down, they did the whole 1000 miles without putting the roof up other than to park at night.

It was a great holiday and we plan to do another trip this year.

Took my neighbour and his wife down to his villa in Spain last year, using his new Freelander (he wanted to give it a blast as he had a severe stroke 2 months after ordering it) three days there and three days back....3500 miles.....obviously not a hiccup, well it was a new Freelander :D

Nice trip actually, we took the scenic route through Spain and back through France.........
