Hi I have an alarm up on my 03 ls430 showing a air valve fault but no symtoms ie it ticks over fuel consumption OK emmisions from MOT all fine so I suspect the sensor but were is it and how do I get to it, Lexus won't get involved as it's gassed so it's a D.I.Y. job.

any advice would be much appreciated

This problem rings a bell with me but I cannot remember where I saw it,maybe the US LOC.

There is something at the back of my mind about a vacuum valve costing around £50.00 but an absolute pig to get to.

I'll have a think and a beer and come back to it.
