I have noticed when my fuel gauge needle is on (or just in front) of the lowest reading and the light is on I still have 10 litres in the tank! It only ever takes 55 ish litres.

Everyone else's the same?? It is a 65 litre tank isn't it?? If it is I sill have roughly 40-50 miles in the tank.

All Lexus and most Japanese cars are like that. When the trip computer says "0 miles" remaining, you can still go for another 20-50 miles (depending on engine size and driving style obviously). Germans on the other hand when it says 0, they really mean 0 miles remaining.
