Hi all

I have a Lexus IS 220d (7 plate) - Just reached 140k on the clock

Just recently the car is struggling in high gear and feels like its missing to the extent that it nearly stalls unless i go into 4th pretty quickly

Anyone else had these symptoms and if so what could be the cause.

Ive been told that it could be the EGR Valve? but when i recently had an MOT, the emissions were very good, would it have failed if the EGR valve was playing up ??

Any help or advice as to what to check would be greatly appreciated

I drive around 35k per year, and regularey have it serviced

Cheers
