What Brake Discs And Pads?

Hello all,

I need to change my brake discs all round and also the pads...I was going to just get some standard ones, however I did use Mtec drilled and grooved on my last car so wondered what others have fitted to theirs?

Also what brake pads :-)

I have Mtec discs with Lexus OEM low dust pads.

Braking is very progressive and smooth now but that is probably down to the pads. Overall a big improvement over the very dusty and non progressive pads that the car came with.

I don't like the noise that the slotted discs make so I probably won't get them again.

I changed mine not too long ago - brembo fronts and Mintex on rear - pads were all mintex.- no issues.

Changed the fronts on mine a couple of months ago because the Lexus originals squealed badly at low speed. I chose Mintex discs and pads, the whole set was ridiculously cheap on eBay.

So far the Mintex's have been fine, no squealing and braking seems on-par with the Lexus originals. I think there is a bit less dust too.

On the other hand, the genuine Lexus discs have painted hubs so they don't rust, this doesn't affect performance but it looks nice :)
