Is200 Spec Change ?

Can anyone tell me if there was a spec change on the IS200? I seem to remember something about 2002 models having upgraded interior and better quality materials. For example, My first 1999 'T' IS only had drivers electric seat, but my 2003 had driver and passenger.

The spec is different on all models mate , there's an S ,Se,sport,Le ,all different ,

I know that. What I was referring to was for example, the spec of a 1999 SE compared to that of a 2003 SE. Couple of examples. 1. As mentioned, both front seats are electric and 2. CD feed slot is at top of unit instead of bottom and 3. Door speakers have chrome ring.

A facelift model was launched in the UK during Oct 2001, along with the IS300.

There were a few cosmetic changes including a new grille and rear lights, different dashboard materials/design and the Sat Nav became DVD based with a wide screen display. The audio head unit was revised with the CD slot in a different place, these units seem to be more reliable.

Other changes to the spec include curtain airbags, Brake Assist, Electronic Brake force Distribution and ISOFIX anchors on the rear seats.

There was other minor changes which normally occur each year, the biggest one was Oct 2003 which had changes to the interior (trim around switch gear and possible the chrome ring around the speakers) and the smoke effect to the external lights.
