Hi everyone,

New club member and new is200d owner.

Was looking at the ct200h, then out of the blue decided to go for the is200d. Decided diesel was a safer bet, so I hope I've made the right decision!

Its a 2011 with 108,000 miles and lexus fsh, so have a bit of time/miles before next service and checking out whats on offer.

So far got quoted £245 for front brake pads, £241 for intermediate service, and £445 for a full one.

All at Lexus Edgware Rd, does the above sound reasonable?

Welcome, prices sound right to me. Sad there is already an issue. Hopefully it is not serious.

Stu

Cheers Stu,

Yes, hoping its just the water pump! Only had it less than a month, popping down to see sellers in morning to see what they have to say.

Hi Stu, apologies for not replying directly, after posting my progress in another thread!

To sum up, Halfords wrongly diagnosed a radiator leak, Lexus correctly diagnosed water pump leak. Lexus replaced water pump and I asked them to check a brakes squeal. Lexus said discs and pads needed replacing, so seller replaced them. Seller paid due to sale of goods act.

Cheers!
