Hello All LOC Members.

An embarrassing situation arises when I have to leave my KCC spanniel within my locked 97 LS400. If she moves (and I DO tell her to "stay") during my absence, off goes the alarm. It is either a case of leaving the car unlocked and hoping that in the event an intruder taking a fancy to it, Jenny will go for his throat (not though, a normal trait for a KC cavalier 10 month old pup) or, when it inevitably sounds off through her wilful disobediance to my firm commands, I try offset my guilt by pretending the car is not mine, especially if I am in the local library!

Is there some way I can still lock the car but temporarily immobilize the alarm. I do hope that this topic has not already been aired or that the instruction manual covers this situation as this will further add to my embarrassment. Happy Christmas.
