Good day Lexus people .....The question i have is , I,ve just bought 6x Denso ik20 spark plugs to fit over the wk-end. What should the gap be , can i fit them straight out of the box ? or do they need gapping correctly..

Thanks in advance Tony

Hi. The IK20 s are pre gapped at 1.1 so no need to interfere.

The original SK20R - P11 (or SK20R - 11)are also pre gapped but have double the life of IK20 s.

I also want to add this note i ve posted on couple of threads on here so ur all aware.

Hi. I just wanted to add that i recently discovered these SK20R-P11 on eBay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170591788999&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

for £43!!! I then rang my local Lexus dealership in Hatfield (ask for Anthony) who was able to better the price! Hope this helps.

Just make sure you change your IK20's at the recommended service intervals. They're only good for 20K compared to the SK20R11 which are good for 100K (that's km's not miles too)
