  1. I need some new tires for my 300 sport and iv'e been searching around and am just confused now ? right now with stock 17" wheels I have 205 45 17 tires all round, I have read on some threads on this forum that many people like to stagger their tires front to rear, say like 245 45 17 rears and 225 45 17 fronts ? it's not unusual with some sports cars to do this I know but should my 2003 is300 sport have the same arrangement ? and if so what sizes work best ? I was thinking maybe 235 45 17 rear and 215 45 17 front or 245 45 17 rear and 225 45 17 front ? any help on this matter would be appreciated as I need tires very soon thanks

  2. Heres the culprit, its the mechanism that tilts the seat back and forward. its the part after the motor, it is white plastic and has a couple of cogs inside it to tilt the seat back. Anyone got one or an old damaged passenger seat that i can take the part off. cheers https://plus.google.com/103301776947440563402/posts/b6U7yGASwqw

  3. Got your request too late Alex. will try and take pics when re-assembling and post them in reverse order, lol i've completely stripped it now, seat off, back off, and disconnected the wires from them also to make it easier to work. If i get this mess back together and it works i,ll show my arse at Buckingham Palace!!! theres loads of tech in these chairs..... Gary

  5. I have had intermitent problems with my TPMS system which - fingers crossed - seems to be fixed. The car will operate fine but will show one flashing and one permanent red light on the dash. As one light refers to several possibilities there is the danger that something else could go wrong without you being aware. The other other issue is that the "display" button will not stay on the info you want to show for more than about five seconds before showing a "check system" message. My enquiries suggest that the system cannot be disabled as it would involve disabling other things at the same time. Or something like that. I'm sure that others can offer a more technical explanation.
