  3. Hello to all, I am new to the LS people but been here before with a LowRider LS. I have a few questions that I could find out trawling old links etc but thought this may be quicker... 1) Where can I get a Plain Debadged Chrome (or black) Grille? 2) Are there Holes under the Badges on the Back? (before I try taking em off ) 3) Where can I get Clear Side Repeaters and Front Indicators? 4) Where can I get Sport Adjustable Coilovers to replace the Factory setup? 5) Is it simple for fitting Aftermarket ICE to the LS's or is a bit of work required? Any infomation and knowledge on LS Acessories etc would be greatly appreciated :D I'm aware most of this stuff can be imported, but thought I'd look closer to home before going down that line lol Regards to all in Advance, LowRed
  4. Well its been a while and although i have a few Points on the License (9 :duh: ) I'm back in Lexus Country :D I have sold my 1.2 Corsa C (I know, Pity Me ) for a very gooood price. And now.... I have just bought a LS400 Mint Condition on a L-Plate 93 in Silver. 151,000 miles and fully Lex serviced. I will be picking it up from Great Yarmouth next Saturday, only like 500 miles away (RoadTrip ) and I can hardly wait. I have for sometime wanted one of these monsters and now my dreams come true :D Not sure about Mods yet but all will be told on here anyways :) Pics to go up soon as I sort out photobucket. One Question to those out there in the know, is it easyish to get a aftermarket radio etc fitted into the LS, I know there was faffing around involved when I done the LowRider IS. Speak to you all soon :D Its good to be HOME :winky: LowRed
  5. Well its been a long time since I been on here, maybe 6 months or so. A lot or stuff has happened recently in my life which has kept me busy and pretty much offline for so long. First of all my Fiancee had a Miscarriage which obviously has been hard for the both of us. Then the Doctors suspected the pregnancy had caused Deep Vein Thrombosis, she was rushed to Hospital and although a false alarmwas still not well with swollen legs, which are getting better with medication. I had needed some time off work to deal with all of it and the Bosses went off on one, and give me the Ulimatum of my "so called Social Life" or my my Job - so I basically told em to ***** OFF as I knew where my responsibilities were. That was October and I still have no Job, Before all that happened I also got 9 Points on my Licence for speeding, all 3 in Areas which I was unaware of (No Excuse I know) so the Insurance was gonna shoot up beyond my means..... you can probably see where this is all going, I finally had to bite the Bullet and sell the LowRider for the money and naturally I lost a few quid on the sale, I have resorted to now being behind the wheel of a CHAV 55 Plate Corsa but its still all good, although I miss the Luxury and Power. So, No Lexus, No Job and No Money (Plus 9 Points) Just thought I'd let you all know, cos I'll be havibg a browse on here now and again, but pretty much inactive really until the Day I Return..... I have stuff for sale if anyone wants anything, give me an offer. I have: 4 wheels and Tyres - 2mm on Tread and kerbed a fair bit but good nick Pair of Rear Light Clusters, Old Chrome style - Mint Condition Centre Air Vent, Mint Condition Fully working 6 Disc Autochanger Head Unit, Mint Condition Original Suspension - Shock Absorbers and Springs Any thing required make me an offer, will soon ebay stuff, if I do not hear owt All the Best :) LowRed

  7. Gutted for the both of you really As for the driving, it seems to me too that the back end is far too easy to swing out on you in the rain :shutit:
  8. Got mine today too :D 2 Things: Do we display our Big Card in the Dash or Window? What time is everyone gonna be getting there?
  9. Welcome to LOC fellow youngster :D I was'nt aware that 18's were Standard either

    Tyres

I had Toyo Proxes on mine for a year but they never lasted long enough for me Then price wise on 18's were about £120ish a tyre :shutit: So we had to economise on the tyres and get Kumho Ecstas, they cost me £70 fitted :D The grip is pretty good for the price, I'm one happy bunny :winky:
  14. First of all I must say you have great taste in Rims :D Either style would suit a Black IS really well. It all depends on what you want, 18's are fine, and lowered 30mm would be Ideal. 19's would probably be pushing it, they won't rub but still close and the tyres are thinner and a bit harder on the road. Cost more for lo pros too The choice is yours but personally I'd go 18's wide and drop it 30mm :)
  15. Quality Parking there, the attraction of no traction :D
  16. Well its taken some time for me to get around to it, but I have not even put on my Club Member Stickers!!! :o So just went out to the Lex with my big sticker and disaster My windows are tinted way to dark for the sticker to show through from inside!!! Anyone got any Vinyls that will stick on the outside, ideally about 12 or so inches by 3??? I would think people have had this problem in the past and I don't really wanna stick anything on the Windscreen. Any help would be great :winky:
  17. Doubtful but I'd recommend having the Clutch checked out at that Mileage. I've just had a new Clutch fitted to mine, cost for the kit £280. Osaka Autodesign charged me £150 for fitting which is pretty good, as they are both Toyota Specialists Also had the timing belt and Drivebelts done at the same time, all new :D
  18. Hmmm nice, shame I now fear any form of Drifing these days.... :shutit: :winky:
  19. Parrrrrrrrrrrrp Phone Call for ya Honey Nice going Too Tone :D
  20. Hope you've wet the babies head by now :winky: Congratulations to you both :D
  21. ***** me its almost Artistic really :D Nasty ones there methinks :o
