AOL seemed to think having a USB would be a problem :( Anyway I cancelled Sky sports for the broadband looks like footies back can watch the hammers struggle and fail :(

Ordered my AOL broadband the other day came today...........4 hours later its back in its box ready to go back :( After 3 million calls to the help line it appears I need to take my motherboard out and install a new chipset.......because windoze XP and my chipset thingy don't work with the new modem thingy........ Never mind eh ! If they now this why dont they ask you before you buy the thing

I agree that the heated screen may have caused the crack to appear with the rapid change in temperature......... Any way lets see if the screen lasts through a moderte frost !

Direct Line have agreed to fit a new screen next week :D Will fix any cracks next time as soon as they happen....this one was one of those that every time i got in the car i said .........must get that done........and didnt The Cd player has now decided to work mmmmmmmmm

I had a stone chip in the screen the size of a pin head.......I think the frost got into it and when I switched on the heater it then cracked.....the crack goes either side of the pin head thingy........

Got in the lex this morning.......thought something looked wrong... just got in from work.......travelled from Brixton to my hoose in nr woolwich no probs at all Different story at my house.......drove into drive......thought I was too close to neighbours space .........reversed out and could not move......blocked the bloody road !!!!!!!! Got spade and removed compacted snow and launched myself into the space....... Car will not move :P til the stuff disappears

just rang Lexus garage............Not covered.........but will refurb them at my cost.......... Looked at warranty........gives list of excluded items and alloy wheels not mentioned :P so by definition if not excluded then its included Will write a stroppy letter right away

Thanks people...... Whats annoyed me is prior to them servicing it (they washed it for me) I didnt have a problem.......methinks they used some alloy wheel cleaner which lifted the lacquer in places......now we have brake dust underneath it........ Looks under table for diplomatic head.......

Question for you all...... Bought my Aug 99 IS200 in April 02 (from a Lexus dealer) its now done 44k miles and when washing it y/day noticed that the dreaded pitting has appeared on 3 wheels........ As shes over 3 years old do you think I have a claim :o Don't want to make a big fuss if the consensus is she's too old...... Any advice/strategy appreciated

Pre 2000 restored old cars or built a kit car Now here in london its back to AFV modelling in 1/35 scale in the evenings to de stress !!! As well as the norms such as walking the dogs etc.......... Played golf until I could drive @ 17 .........sold clubs to pay for my first garage bill :)

She was fine her car a Daewoo matiiz took the shunt well needing a new bumber and rear boot floor.........twas a BT transit........if you want a laff....... in april 99 i was hit from the back by a BT van turning right......... :( in aug 2001 same again........... :( sept 01 my wifes incident with a BT van......... :( anyone beat that............... did well out of whiplash though :o

Getting back to the subject in hand :P 18 months ago my wife stopped at a traffic light as it when from amber top red here in dodge city (s e london) unfortunately the BT van following didnt........shunted her 10 metres down the road and nearly ran the pedestrian over :o Consequently she is now a fully fledged amber gambler :o
