Windscreen washers packed up yesterday.......filled up with water today.....still didnt work.......checked fuses.....all OK......no noise from washers.....going 400 miles tomorrow.....rain forecast.......mmmmm called RAC out (feeling a prat) duly arrived agreed fuses OK......suggested taking all fuses out as the fusebox is sometimes not labelled.......he fiddled for a while......then bingo......water,water everywhere.........However when I said what did you do .......he said......pressed this button ! Since April I've been pulling the wiper stalk to me to operate the washer & wipers for 5 wipes......he pressed the end of the stalk !! felt less than 1" tall.......BUT until he fiddled with the fuses pulling the stalk back produced water & wipes.....now its one wipe & no water......press the t*t one the end and we have water.......mmmmm So...how do your washers work !!!!!:o

had the same happen to me y/day.......was wet and it had been dry for a while so i was NOT being silly.....went round a big r/bout and oooooooops out she went.........no lights came on !! tyres are ok 4mm on rear 6 mm on front..... certainly woke me up:cool:

nah..........if it was a pigeon......I'd ave shot it !!!!!!

Just found a stone chip on my roof close to the rear window seal !!!!!!!! I dont recall going backwards at any speed recently........ :yawn:

SatNav stays !!!!!!!! Thought the SatNav was a toy when I bought the car ! However I use it a lot and its very good........When I set it up to go somewhere it says how long it thinks it will take......Theres a challenge !!!!!!! Makes a boring drive more interesting trying to beat the time :P:P

well the dalmation Argos special didnt work after being washed..........So.....bought a picnic blanket in a west ham tartan,,,,,,,,s:cool:marked off where the head rest poles were........my wike then sewed some material along one edge leaving gaps where the poles went.......fits lovely and looks rather good....

i've got XP on my laptop and its rubbish. what i suggest is you find out what your modem is and download the relevant XP drivers for it on my laptop AOL 7 didnt work........AOL 6 did.....advice was to go and get new drivers......this I did and bingo

hope i have not caused any offence to any GS owners......what i was trying to say has been largely understood.....in that if you are a c**p driver it doesnt matter what you have cometh the twisty bits the more skillfull driver will make up the difference in missing HP.....in this case what i did was out of character but this bloke typified what gets the anti-car lobby excited.......example>> he lives on the estate where i live and as with all modern estates they would rather build 2 new houses than give children somewhere to play...so they play in the road or close to it.......no problem as we are off the main road.......not for this chappy.....he drives up & down accelerating hard every day speeds of 40/50 mph sometimes on the mobile !!!!!! an accident waiting to happen.......so when he tried it on i thought .....lets see what you're made of........ I'm back to driving sedately !!

Was coming home from getting my new battery at old f**ts speed...... approaching a roundabout something came alongside me at great speed....a GS300 (M reg)........thought to myself aye aye........ floored it in second ... redlined it to third the GS was level pegging.......another roundabout approached......... he he he he........out braked him by a mile turned left into my road and continued at old f**rts pace...... 1-0

well..........Lexus Bromley said battery was nearing end of its cycle.........so replaced it. Checked the rest of the car over while it was being done. whats the smiley face for impressed ??? !! :D:D:D:D

I posted one when I bought it as I was impressed with the whole setup......no hassle ...... a class act will post an update !!

:D:D:D:D:D phoned Lexus Bromley....asked me to bring the car in .... they will test battery properly and if there are any problems they will replace it.......no hassle at all........didnt even have to raise my voice !!!!! impressed

this one is quite good and stays in place very well.......my terrier is a fidgit ! Dalmations are sad I know........... However it works !!!!!!!!!

I use one from Argos ...a soft PVC one with dalmations on.....after a month its managed to prevent any sign of dog hair onto the seats and doesnt slip off.
