  1. might be hear say, i dunno. hence why i asked if sugarytea knew if they were legal or not..... if not, no harm done in bringing the issue up. if so, then maybe something for people to bear in mind. :) EDIT: actually, thinking about this and having a brief look on DVLA site, i think the square plates are fully legal as long as the character type, size and spacing is UK compliant as well as the spacing between the top and bottom lines meets there standards. I think the issue is perhaps with people who have the Jap sized plates but with smaller font (and their car is NOT an import) - i believe some imports are permitted to have smaller font on the plates than standard UK law dictates.....
  2. I can't find anything in the regulations for displaying number plates that says that. Do you have a source ? pretty sure they are as remember reading on here and elsewhere than non import cars cannot display an import (JAP) style plate. no idea when i read that, but it seemed to stick in my mind. does look good though

  7. ur car looked great last night mate - heard u before i saw you, lol B) the induction kit on the s/c is sooooo dominating in terms of sound - deffo not for the faint hearted but it really does sound great when u hit the gas!! great catching up with you mate. if you can find a link to the lights and stereo we spoke about, that'd be wicked matey. rob

  9. if ur driving it over tonight then that'll give you a chance to have a 'test' i'm sure the exhaust still sounds mean mate - it was never the most subtle of things was it :winky: how about the TRD rear lip, with the inlay bit painted black or coverred with a c/f vinyl wrap?? that'd look great i reckon and go well with the spoiler?? rob

  18. yea the v6 conversion is getting populafr on the MR2's... thought it was a tubbie based on those two huge intakes u had fitted. looks a cracker though matey!!! bet it went well!! love the fact they'e mid-engined as well!!

  21. agred, the hotchkiss arbs and bracket set are superb!!! much better value than 200 notes for just some brackets IMHO!!!
