    claying is the nuts so might give this a try and see how it compares. is the blu tac method like using a mild clay?? or is it slightly more aggressive than that??

    hmm, sounds good. would white tac work the same, lol?! is the composition of blu tac and a clay bar the same?? did it need more lubricant than a clay bar and what lubricant did you use??

    rob i have some blue samco hosing somewhere. not enough for the whole charger setup but possibly 1/3 to 1/2...... can try dig it out if you like mate and then u'd just need the remaining few bits??

    yes they will fit. i have the Hotchkiss ARB's on mine and they are absoloutly brilliant!! One of the best mods i've done to the car!! and got em for a bargain price as i was over in the US at the time so just checked them in as luggage well worth it mate

    80 quids a good price matey. its ur choice really as its ur car, and yea, it'll be different to any other i'm sure. i can't make my mind up as to whetehr it suits the car or not. The more i look at it, the more i think it suits the car, lol. not heard of anyone putting that spoiler on an IS before.

    Erm, NO, I bought Ellz T-Kit. It's a cast manifold with a Garrett GT2871R and 2,5" Piping. Internals will be changed and block and head will be modified. Also a Haltech ECU will be used. Fuel system is already changed, but you can also read about the whole build up here: GERMAN LOC I also have 1G-GTE rods for sale.... ;) do u also have the 1G-GTE pistons?? what internals are you using then if its not the 1G-GTE one's??

    yep, thats partly my thinking also. what are you doing to the engine then?? JE forged rods/pistons or 1G-GTE rods/pistons?? What turbo kit are you fitting and are you fabricating manifold etc yourself??

    i hear you mate, but i really wanted to stick with the IG-FE engine and tweak that accordingly. That was my method of choice, but unless the other people i've been speaking to get back to me with reasonable figures, then its either an engine swap, or a car swap, lol!!

    cheers for the link guys. those rods look the part, but pistons needed also, then my method of power delivery, then someone to fabricate custome manifold etc etc and rebuild the engine. it all adds up i guess and i wasn't expecting it to be cheap, but i was quoted a lot more than i had accounted for!! at stav, whats the 2Jz and the RB engine?? (thats not what i was looking into - i was planning on sticking with the 1G-FE)

    @yeldarb, 4K is peanuts to what i was quoted mate :shutit: the price of your conversion is very tempting, providing the power delivery, reliability and final build is all as it should be. I'm watching your thread with interest matey. mind you, there are a couple of other tuners i'm waiting to hear back from so may get more realistic hopefully, lol!! @gord, yea i know what u mean mate. :duh: :shutit:
