  1. As far as can tell from the wiring diagram the wires leading to the reverse light bulbs are Red with a Black stripe.
  2. Mine does the parked wiper area and up each side. I was fairly impressed with it's performance when I had to use it pretty much every day in December.
  3. I agree with this, I usually leave mine off for 20-30mins before taking it off. Also i find the easiest way to apply it is using your hands. Scoop a little bit up, warm it slightly on your hands then you can spread it easily and evenly over the car.
  4. I have a set of standard springs lying around in my garage. Send me a PM if you want them.
  5. LOL, you'd have to tap out the fog light just a tad to get an M10 bolt in there.
  6. It likes soup. Yes?

  7. Try ringing your Lexus dealer. They might have some in stock.
  8. I couldn't say for sure without getting one of the bolts out and taking a look. But it's definitely a 10mm head, 15-20mm thread length and I'm pretty sure it's M6 ISO metric thread.
  9. Dodo juice is excellent. I use Blue Velvet, it's really hard wearing stuff. More suited to dark coloured cars though.
  10. I seem to remember something about the model number of the stereo doing strange things with the grom. Does anyone else recall this?
  11. Does anyone else think that looks a bit like a *****? Oh well time to book myself into a course of counseling again.
  12. Where abouts is the grinding noise coming from? If it seems to be coming from the front of the engine, it might be the bearings in either the water pump or power steering pump.
  13. Sorry. Before anyone scolds me, the fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel pump as well. The small device on the end of the injection rail is the Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper. And, james m, the piston on the Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper will move in and out and may click because the fuel pressure in the lines is rapidly changing due to actuation of the injectors.
  14. Fuel pump is under the back seat....in the fuel tank. Are you sure you're looking at the pump? And not, say, the fuel pressure regulator at the end of the injection rail?
  15. My old BMW (sorry for cursing) did this too. Just the exhaust cooling down.
  16. I too suffer from a cold knob. Try breathing hard on it before grasping.
  17. Yes the statement is correct. The fuel pump 'sort of' helps the engine to run. That's it's job.
  18. Dead easy dude. Either disconnect the battery for a few minutes, but you'll lose all presets on radio and the clock etc. Or open up the fuse box in the engine bay in front of the battery and remove the ETCS and ECU fuses for a few minutes. There's a legend in the fusebox so you know what you're pulling.
  19. Wow, an automatic as well?! What is it running on, pixie dust and sunshine? I'm like Ormi and Stav, 280 around town if I'm lucky. 350 on motorway if I drive with a girly foot (that is, very lightly, not wearing high heels. Sorry girls).
  20. Hi there, I'll start by saying that unfortunately, it's very difficult to diagnose engine faults over the internet. What you've described there could be any number of things, slipping clutch; wrong, damaged or incorrect spark plugs; throttle body sensors, or even a ridiculously slack throttle cable. Is there any other information you could give us?
  21. My suggestion is to plug in a fault code reader and see if any codes are being produced. Any garage should do this for a small fee if you don't have your own. Is the Engine Check Light on? Because the ECL and TRC flashing usually come on together for an engine fault. If not it might just be your ABS/TRC side of things.
  22. That's precisely why I want mine fixed. And I don't want to spend £100 on a HKS Fcd when I can spend 60 odd pence on a capacitor and get my black box working again.
