Went down to GG yesterday afternoon and had a chat with one of the guys in the performance section. I gave him a demo of the site as I took my laptop - he loved it!!! Well done Steve, Matt and co.! Anyway, parts. Basically, he spent ages looking for details on the HKS stuff but couldn't find what he was after (a spec sheet with model numbers, performance stats etc.) so he will be emailing on Monday and I will post all the details. I asked about group discounts, and he said we can chat further once we know how much interest on a particular item there is. Hope this helps - I'll post more as and when I get it... Johnny - one of the other guys remembers you!!!

OK - at last! I went into the dealer about 45 minutes ago, and the body shop manager came out straight away. I pointed him in the direction of the bubbling, and said that this was what I was angry about and the reson I wrote to Lexus GB. He asked me to open the bonnet so that he could have a good look and.... COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. Booked in on the 20th of MAy, collection on the 22nd of May - FULL Respray of the whole bonnet (so chips will go too) worth £290 plus VAT. I asked him if this was a common problem - and he said it was rare but in instances like this it is covered under warranty. He was fair enough about it, its just a shame it took so long via Lexus GB.... :)

Hi Andy, Well my IS Sport is a 2000 model. This is before they reduced the height of the Sports by 15mm over the standard S's and SE's. I believe this is only over the last year as I've looked at previous brochures and the ride height is the same. So this is 25mm off standard ride height. There is absolutely NO rubbing (and thats with 4 people and a full boot of luggage), great handling and looks (of course!). I've had Spax springs put on my Lexus - 25mm drop, and decent ride quality. Looks good, handles well and a bargin at £160 fitted!
