  1. That actually looks quite nice... Any idea of the price?
  2. MAJOR UPDATE... Have just recieved a call from my dealer. Lexus GB have been in contact with them and they seem to have had a servere telling off... The bodyshop manager (who I know very well) was sympathetic and has asked me to book the car in with them to get the bonnet looked at and work done. He did say that stone chips will NOT be covered under warranty (hhhmmmm), but that the bubbling will be. Lets see where we go from here, I'll keep you all posted... strange Lexus GB haven't contacted me directly huh?
  3. Welcome to the club... Check this thread for details on centre armrests... http://www.teamlexus.co.uk/forums/viewthread.php?tid=534 :tumble:
  4. Wow - you folks have driven some serious moters... I have had the opportunity of driving 2 Ferraris with Everyman Motorsports on a track day at Prestwold Hall Driving Centre - one was the Mondial and the other a Testarossa - did 180mph in the latar! :D Other than that, driven my friends M3, Dad's Merc AMG and my previous hot hatch - Pug 306 GTI-6...

  8. Hi Andy, Welcome to the club! Specs can be found at the top of the page under "Lexus Specs"... IS200 (UK) - 153bhp IS300 (UK) - 211bhp Hope this helps...
  9. hhhhhhmmmmm. So you didn't get your £500 off that you were after - but did you get ALL the extras you bargined for? And what about the kit? Weigh up the options - will importing work out cost effecient? I don't think anyone here can give you THE answer - at the end of the day its your call. Try contacting another dealer to see what they say - you have nothing to lose...
  10. lol... we get tinted windows too you know!!!!:P
  11. Yeah it is NOW Ricky. When you and I got ours it was the same ride height, but the sports since end of last year come 15mm lower...
  12. Well, thats as good a place to start then any... best of luck. Let us know how you get on. Check your u2u - I've responded to your queries. Zee

  15. Thanks Mat... Hi Mardibloke, £600 off list? They have larger margins then that - believe me. Things you ought to be looking for: - Yes, last day of the month COULD mean a better deal, but not always, especially if they have already hit their targets - You need to be looking at at least £1000 off list. It also depends on the model. Sport mark ups are high, so you should get more off, but SE's are tighter and more popular so don't expect a great deal - Extras, push for the usual ie Metalic paint, mudflaps, 12 months tax, tank of fuel, and if possible a years worth of insurance with Lexus themselves. They are underwritten by another firm but tend tend to offer a good price - Careful with finance. Unless its under 9%, look at taking a loan out. Working for a bank, I know how these finance companies operate and some of the additional charges can be ridiculous. Flexible loans are convinient and hold low apr's so its worth shopping around - Yes you can order bodykit parts seperately, but order them WITH the car, you'll get a better deal then if you order after. Fair enough, they won't hold much risidual value, but it depends on how long you'll keep the car. - Whatever you do, set your price that you are willing to pay and STICK to it. If they don't budge - waqlk away. Then try another dealer, and you'll find that playing the two off each other will get you the deal you want. Now these are by no means definates and they are only MY recomendations. Others will do doubt have their opinions, but if you want to chat further then u2u me. Zee.
  16. yeah - and when it fades it will be PINK!!!! :D:D:D
  17. I would have said Pink, but as you only have white or yellow... White :D
  18. 1. Sitting so low down you can't see where you're driving 2. Those lights where your washers are 3. Aluminium filler cap :tumble::tumble::tumble::tumble::tumble:
  19. Andy - Did you get the Blitz exhaust fitted and if so what does it sound like? Darkness - Did you get your HKS fitted and if so what do you think? Not heard from anyone on this for a while, so thought I would follow up as I'm still undecided... :smug:
  20. Yep - totally agree Mat. I said the same thing earlier. Count me in for sure - and if you need help, give me a shout. I know Emrul was going to use my email as a template. The more the merrier I say....
  21. OK - quick update. Have received two emails from Lexus Customer Relations thus far. Both with nothing of any use WHAT SO EVER.... Have responded today with a further email - but not too harsh or extensive as they did quote "endevour to respond with a comprehensive solution this week." hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm........ 4 days left.... I'm not holding my breath......
  22. Some good stuff on IS300.net - especially some of those letters. They seem to be taking a group stance and following up with Lexus US as a united front. Maybe this is something we should be considering? Not sure how everyone feels about this - or if you guys feel as cheated as I do. I'm happy to work on this and co-ordinate and represent us if we decide to take this route. I would appreciate everyones thoughts here... they can't get away with fobbing us off...
