  1. Abbie - if you're just going a few metres, then have a look at this - prolly the easiest solution:- linky
  2. Thanks mate I'm moving my Sky+ box and therefore need to extend both satellite cables by about 10 metres.
  3. Does anyone know if the coax used for Sky+ satellite is just normal bog-standard TV coax or is it summink special?? Thanks
  4. :) My LCD is made by Thomson. as ive said ive had no issues, infact in Germany Thomson is one of the if not the biggest selling TV manufacturer ← That's good to know mate - there's a good deal on at Comet on a very well specced Thompson machine - I'm quite tempted.
  5. Does anyone know anything about Thompson?? - who makes the display? - reliability etc etc (they're French, and I love France, but the French are not reknowned for the reliability of their electonics)
  6. You should try an outlet centre Mitch - the one near me is Bicester Village, but they're all over the country - they have shops that are owned and run by the manufacturers. there's deffo a Versace shop there. There's a big centre in Swindon too.
  7. I bought a set of McGard ones from Halfords - nice and shiny too!! - look very hard indeed to copy and no flippin stupid pins to break off (like the Lexus ones)
  8. 6 points here - got done by the same mobile camera twice in 20 minutes (going there and going back)
  9. whatever u decide rodders you are going to have 37" of viewing pleasure you can't go wrong really :D get back when you go for the surround sound :D ← Already have the sound sorted mate - lovely Yamaha DSP-A5 and a set of mission speakers - it's only the telly that I'm, changing
  10. LCD over 32" is very rare and massively expensive though mate. I already have a 100Hz Wega 32" CRT that I've gotta out because of it's depth, so I'm thinking if I have to go flat, it'd be better to get something a little larger. I'm quite keen to get a TV that is HDTV ready if poss too, as Sky will start transmitting in 2006. ← my brother has just changed from plasma to lcd and you can defo see the difference. depends on your budget rod but if you can afford the extra i would highly recommend lcd over plasma. have a look at this one ← That's only 32" though mate - I really want 37". Reading "What Plasma" mag (like you do) - says that LCD and Plasma both have their pros and cons - better black definition and less motion blur on plasma apparently. In any case, I need 37" so pretty much gotta be plasma.

  13. Glad to hear that you're both OK - the car's only metal!
  14. You and me both mate! ← Makes three :duh: ← Make that four of us ;) ← I'm glad it wasn't just me then (like wot it normally is)

  16. You can check by RIGHT-clicking on the image and selecting "properties" - it'll tell you the dimensions of the image in pixels
