    Lol, i tried doing the blue LED conversion myself a good few years ago finding that they werent bright enough. I couldnt be bothered to fix them or get them changed back. I used the same as the bottome screen surround which was halfords matt black.

    Been busy with the filler again. Having my new screen moulded into the dash where the original stereo went i had no room for a stereo to power the speakers so I put that in the glove box. I thought i might have a go with the filler and make another din slot for the stereo. I've used my old kenwood touchscreen but i'm planning on buying the jvc dvd player. Anyhow here are some links to the pics, let me know what you think.

    I can't remember if my lex had dual connectors or not but the harness I used was the toyota iso connector (PC2-17-4). Hope this helps. Just found a link: http://thebassbin.co.uk/shop/product/products_id/610.html

    i've got a 2000 X plate mate. I just plugged mine straight in.

    As you've got the 'S' model don't you just need a standard toyota to iso connector. You can get them from halfords. I got mine adaptor from there and I have a 'S' model too.

    I've got a 6680 and use the Tom Tom software on it. I've read that the 3230 can handle it too. I bought a Holux Gps reciever for it and it works great, so far been very accurate. You can upload speed camera positions on it and your own points of interests.

    If your car is the standard 'S' model then all you need is the Toyota iso connector lead which can be bought from halfords. It will convert your lexus plug to a standard 16 pin iso.

    Cheers for the info mate. Now I just need to find out where I can get my hands on a set of gs headrests for a couple of minutes.

    I've managed to get my hands on some 7" screens. These are too big for the IS200 headrests, I've been given two options from my trimmer. Get bigger headrests that still fit the IS or have the headrest built up to fit the 7" screens. The headrest are spare cloth ones as I've upgraded to a leather interior. Does anyone know if the GS headrests fit the IS and are they big enough to fit the 7" screens? Or does anyone know of any other headrests from other cars that will fit IS? Thanks Alex

    I ran a new power wire from the battery. I did have it running of the power wire for the stereo for a little while but found that the stereo would turn off everytime I adjusted the chair.

    Johnoby 1 - Ah, Greg's Tyres. Thats where i bought my alloys from. I think the last time i saw you was one of the essex meets in basildon macdonalds. Scarface - Was of to get the kenwood touchscreen fixed, got some plans for it. Shahz - Mate the fact that we see each other all the the time in walthamstow but yet never met. Hopefully you'll be at the London meet. I can finally meet ya then.

    I thought it was a good movie, enjoyed it a lot.

    I had a similar problem, my alloy wheel was corroding from the inside allowing air to escape between the tyre and wheel. Tony at STS sorted the problem by cleaning the inside of the rim with a wire brush and painting on a solution that stopped the air from escaping.

    I get the same thing sometimes, its one of the relays but I can't remember which one it is. I normally just pull the relay out and put it back in. I also normally do a ecu reset at the time too. Still don't know what causes it.

    Same thing has happened to me a few times. I normally just turn the engine off and start it again. Then the problem is gone.

    So you managed to get the seats to adjust electricaly? ← Yeah, managed to get the seat to work electrically. Can't remember what wire it was for the electrics but wilkl have a look for you when I get a chance.

    I've changed my interior to leather. Wasn't to hard to do. Only thing that I couldn't work out was how to wire in the heated seats. Electrics was just a case of having a positive to one of the wires.

    3 times!! when I started dating a girl in Essex I got pulled 5 days in a row because they did not recognise my car in the area. Only got made to produce just the one time though.

    The fogs are aftermarket ones, I preferred the look of these to the larger fogs.

    Was gonna get a smaller plate but have been lazy and havent made the effort to go out and get one.
