  1. I got talked out of for medical reasons, and thinking about it I reckon it was the right choice! That stuff was evil in the very small ammount we tried it - imagine what a capfull (i reckon about 50 times larger dose) would have done! I reckon myself to be a bit of a chilli monster along with Mr Clawley, but this stuff was the hottest I have ever tried by a long way. Mat had 8 small doses over a day at christmas and it blistered his tongue. That is how hot it is! The challenge for anyone that is interested, was to drink a capfull of Daves Ultimate Insanity Sauce for 240 Euros - and I chickened out! The things you agree too after a few beers........ http://www.davesgourmet.com/insauces.html
  2. Mine originally had P-Zero Rosso's on and like yours, they were shot in under 10k. Go for Toyo Proxes T1-S or Goodyear Eagle F1's in my opinion. http://www.mytyres.co.uk are pretty good for tyres........
  3. Yes mate, the firmest setting is the one closest to the horizontal bar.
  4. When I was running about 70mm lower than standard, my Toyos used to last beween 4000 and 6000 miles but this was due to the ammount of negative camber required to run the car this low. There is a good 4-5mm of tread on the outside, but I have been down to the braiding on numerous occaisions on the inner edge without knowing. I have to say that they are, along with Goodyear Eagle F1's, the best gripping tyre in the dry I have ever tried.
  5. The 18 x 8.5" 40mm offset GS rims will go on an IS no problem as long as you are not more than about 40mm lower than standard. Mat Clawley's Volk TE37 rims are 8.5" on the rear with 255 tyres and they never rub. I think they are +40mm offset too. Even the 10" sport rear alloys will go on an IS, there is a guy in Germany with them on his car.
  6. I would have thought that was a good price for those alloys and they look fantastic on the new shape GS too. I thought they were all painted on the inside, just polished on the outer face?
  7. not sure of that : is it a subscribe channel . . . . vindaloo Nah mate nothing like that, watch fashion TV at midnight and you will see what I mean :winky: Mr. Clawley first pointed out the merits of this channel to me :D toilet
  8. Hot (male viewers of Sky digital will know about this one.......)
  9. This is standard on the new RX, probably on the LS too. I bet one of the electronics guys on the site could knock you something up.
  10. The ones I sold to Lexus Jim the other day had small Red markings on them. I think there may have been some white as well but dont hold me to that....... They were from an 02 Sport.
  11. No mate. Lexus would have to prove that the modification that you did DIRECTLY caused the fault. For example, if your head gasket went, they could not get out of fixing it under warranty by saying you had an aftermarket spoiler fitted. It gets a bit complicated with things like de-catting your manifold though. I suppose it is down to your dealer at the end of the day on how tollerent they are on mods. Lexus Leicester and Lexus Sheffield are superb on things like this.
