I was gonna get a black X-5 instead of my 300, but.....i'm glad i didn't! Considered the Type R (no creature comforts), the S3 (nice but wanted 4 door), Will probable stay with Lexus, BMW, i dunno...M3 maybe. Damn there's too many nice cars out there! But when you say i drive a LEXUS...doesn't that just say something???

I don't let Road Rage bother me really. It gets on my nerves a bit when people cut in front of you or don't say thanks, but if you join in you may end up smashing your own car. Just let the big kids play by themselves, we are bigger than that! Don't need no bangers and lexus-mash!

It's true!! They say it never rains in Southern California! WOW! The SC looks so much better with a different set of wheels, not many people change the wheels. I personally think the standard ones don't suit the car much.

In answer to the post by OOJONI, thanks pal, the wheels don't rub, even on full lock, and the car has been lowered. These wheels are made FOR the lexus so the offset will be perfect. Ride is comfortable, no complaints really! The pictures of my car have an extra £100 worth of Tesco's Groceries lowering in the boot, so it looks even lower! :lol: I know I cheated a little.

I have the same problems with gear changes, which i try to solve by driving fast. Well jokes aside the gear changing thing is annoying and it happens when the car is at about 5-10mph. It JERKS into gear..is that right? Lately I haven't had that problem. There is also a delay before acceleration, which is annoying too. Have you driven it hard in manual? It's not quite as thrilling as a gearstick manual, but there is less delay in the acceleration and you can take the revs further. I dunno!!!!:P

The toyo turbo is the one I was considering, or the Area 51 S/C! I just have to do a little more research on the pros and the cons of either. That 650rwhp engine swap sounds too good to be true! But with that much power a lot more has to be done to your car....but then judging from your modifications you seem the tinkering type :lol:

Hi Guys! Thanks for the comments! I have done nothing to the engine YET.....as i am getting a supercharger or a turbo kit from the states as soon as poss. The problem with the 300 here is that nothing is yet avail in the UK. Anyways, for now it's all good. The 19"wheels are available by contacting lexsport or L-sportline and the C-West kit from v-spec. I am getting a DVD/NAV install soon, so if there are any members that could help or that are into that sorta thing...get in touch! For now i'll just drive into the desert sunset...:smilegrin::smilegrin::D Live like there's no tomorrow!

i am getting 19's in a few weeks, so I will have to lower it to avoid my car looking like a 4x4! I have kind of decided on the Eibach springs and was wondering if anyone could give me an opinion on them. Also how much I should lower the ride. I was quoted £160 for the spings but just over £300 for them fitted. Any comments????
