Hi Maferga, With the final gear 4.7, u have better low end torque but your max speed is limited to 217km/h.

TRD do not produce a full body kit. The TRD kit consist of front lip and a rear trunk spoiler. FYI, a lot of people have mistaken the Netz Sport kit (JDM) to be the TRD kit.

For the TRD LSD, they will recommend to use the TRD LSD oil, however sometimes I do use the Cusco LSD oil.

The shuddering effect of the LSD is common. I am using the TRD LSD.

Some people have said that the Lexus IS200 is equipped with the Power Pass. The function of the Power Pass is temporary cuts off aircon compressor when accelerating, helps to reduce stress on engine, therefore shouldnt have the less responsive feeling. Anyone have heard of this Power Pass?

Hi, Go back to LEXUS to get your car re-tune & also have the throttle body clean up.

I felt that the IS200 has more power & torque when the air-con is off. However when the air-con is swith on, the car is less responsive & less powerful as when the aircon is off. Anyone care to advise how to improve the situation with the aircon switch on.

I have checked with my local Lexus dealer & they told me the IS200 timing belt need to be change only at 150,000km. I was quite suprised as we usually change the timing belt at half the mileage, anyone care to comment.

I understand from Mark, TDI that HKS will be producing a header for the 6 cylinders IS200 if there is a demand of 50 or more. Mark will let us know the price & how many of u guys are keen? I am keen.... Rek

Hi Zee, I am using the Greddy Emanage on my supercharged IS200 with TDI pulley upgrade and I am getting 190 wheel hp. A few friends owning the IS200 & altezza are using the E-manage & we all do not have any problems. The bottom line here is who is yr tuner and how good is he.

The IS200 is a single fuel line and to use the FSE u have to modify to have a return life.

Hi assin, My friend did not have any problem with the e-manage and he got 124hp at wheels. Did you have a problem with your e-manage? I understand from Ray Hall, Australia who had done a conversion from IS200 to IS300, that we have to keep our stock ecu to control certain features of the car. Ray is using Autronic SM2 on his IS and this autronic ecu has to be used together with the stock ECU.

Hi Mark, I am keen on the HKS manifolds and I believe many IS200 owners in europe & asia are also keen as there are no aftermarket manifold for IS200 (GXE-10). The 50 manifolds should not be a problems to u. Kindly let me know the price and when will the manifolds be ready. dboey

Hi Mark, Any news about your Stage 2 upgrade after your Stage 1 boost upgrade and lastly are u guys or HKS coming out a header for the IS200 (GXE-10).

The HKS header on the 4 cylinders Altezza produce good result. I really hope that HKS will produce a similar header for our IS200 (GXE-10) as the market in Europe & asia is justifiable.
