  1. That's where I am exactly, street view works and I can send a route to the car but non of the other promised features. Our dealer said the portal is undergoing upgrades so it's just a matter of sit and wait.
  2. No Tel, no eggs to suck here. I've got it now. Now all we need is for Lexus to get the rest of the online services working.
  3. Hi Tel, yes now I get the little man and Google earth picture. I cannot connect to Online search. When I try to make a journey on the portal, all I get is where the journey starts, add a step and a huge map of my estate. I am using wi-fi Hotspot, as instructed by the dealer so I don't understand your comment about being close to the house.
  4. Forgot to mention the 15% discount with the LOC card.
  5. Had a bit of success today, we reset all the log-in in the car and we can at least get Google Earth now, it doesn't always connect to the portal, but Lexus are still working on that.
  6. Passenger side fuse box just under the glove box.
  7. Went to Halfords and had a Nextbase 321GW fitted, so I think this post is finished now, thanks for all the input.
  8. We've tried my wife's phone and still no luck, we can connect to the car as a wi-fi hotspot, but cannot get any further than that. I'm wondering if my BT Hub5 or my internet connection may have something to do with this.
  9. Just tried starting from scratch and the Lexus portal is having problems and I have to try again later so I can't even close my account. It doesn't look a good advert for Lexus!
  10. Yes i think I will start again as i doesn't make sense that the dealer got it to work and i can"t.
  11. Yes i can log-in to the portal and sent routes to the car, the car says unable to download route. I have tried wi-fi and bluetooth tethering, with no success.
  12. I can connect to the car OK and i see the WiFi symbol, but cannot get onto online search.
  13. Car is only a month old and i still cannot connect to the internet etc. I keep getting "ID=00" or "connection refused".Spent 20 =mins on the phone to Lexus support, no success. The instructions on theLexus portal do not match my car. Phone is Nexus 5X and i can connect it to the car via Bluetooth or WiFi. Any suggestions?
  14. Yes ditto, ordered it yesterday and it arrived from Germany via DHL all for £7.97 today.
  15. Yes they say the LED lights are better than fog-lights and the grilles either side are venting holes for the brakes.
  16. i can't find the Navigation Manual for a 2017 F-Sport, so it's off to the dealers.
  17. No, it's the F-Sport Azure Blue. I've used Triple Wax Shake and Shine for the first polish, which, although difficult to use in that you have to keep it away from tyres, it does produce a stunning finish. I used half a bottle - £4 a go - so I may use a different wax next time.
  18. I cannot get my connected services to work. I keep getting "connection refused" message. I have tried another mobile, tried re-pairing. When you look on the customer portal it tells you to got to Gotomy.lexus.euandlogin. ChooseAdditionalServices>Checkyourmobilephonecompatibility. That throws me back to the UK and there is no "additional services" link to see which phones are compatible.
  19. Let me get back to my post without upsetting too many. My wife (who pays for the car) and i are very pleased with it. We think the "silver" rear bumper protector looks fine and matches the silver HYBRID badge on the rear. ISJason to answer your question, we had three drivers seat covers changed on our IS300h Luxury and two passenger covers, so we didn't want the same issues with this one so we chose the cloth option. We used Turtlewax Shake and shine on the car yesterday and the paintwork really shines although it is a pain to use. All i've got to do is master the "connected services" before we change the car in three years time!!
  20. There is only the choice of a silver bumper plate and it sort of matches the exhaust ports. What rear diffuser?
  21. Still got the Owners Club plates, so a good excuse to give it it's first wash and polish. Now just got to get the connected services to work.
  22. No it's happily driving around the roads of Shropshire.
  23. Yes Paul I quite agree, having just picked our new F Sport on Friday. The hand-over room at Wolverhampton has lights in it that fade and you can see your new car through the glass wall of the room. Then they show you the basic controls and send you smiling from ear to ear on your way. It's probably what sets Lexus apart from many other manufacturers. The personal touch means a lot.
  24. Yes back to topic Yes we picked the car up at 5:00pm yesterday thanks. They had to sent a low loader to Bristol to collect it, and bring it to Wolverhampton, all at Lexus UK's expense. Apparently the transporter trailer was loaded with new cars Wednesday night, however there were no free tractor units to bring them up country, so they had to unload ours from the trailer and put it on a flat bed. What service. The staff at Lexus Wolverhampton have provided excellent customer service, kept us informed, when they could, and kept us topped up with coffee and biscuits on both visits.
  25. We had cloth on the IS300Sport and they were fine. I'm fed up with changing the seat covers in this one ( three drivers and two passengers). IMHO it's about time they started charging Diesel cars, in our cul-de-sac there are only three petrol and over 20 diesel cars. When i mention Cancer and Nitrous Oxides to the diesel owners they blame the government for making them but a diesel...Yeah right, and they are the ones with children who have to sit in the vehicle whilst it pollutes the atmosphere. To get back to the topic, our car had to have its first MOT yesterday, our new car was also due to arrive at 14.15 yesterday. The transporter was loaded up the previous night with 12 cars and of course its hundreds and hundreds of miles from Bristol to Wolverhampton. What i can't understand is why aren't these car transporters fitted with tracking devices? They are carrying over £300,000 worth of vehicles and it appears no one knows where they are. I they do, then why aren't they letting the dealers know when the delivery is due? And still we wait
