  2. yes it an issue on some cars -can be solved by not loosening the bolt too much or if that fails check the edge if the lip is at 90 degrees so the cam cant ride up over it.... other option is to get a bit of weld on the edge

  4. standard is 130mm and the SC runs at about 10300 rpm - max rpm is 14000 so i am guessing u are close to the max limit with the larger pulley
  5. thats what i thought u meant - they are complete crap, you could have had a full air con service for about £10 more....... and it would be the correct quantity and pressure for your system. let us know is you get any more issues with the aircon in the system as it could be caused by using the DIY kit

  8. what exactly do you mean by " it took a full cannister to bring it up into the blue zone on the meter" was it one of the DIY can kits from halfords etc or was it done on a proper macine? I mention it as you said cannister.
  9. chamfer the edges of the pad ......... its easier for me to say that.

  11. i have ordered a kestrel machine - its just the same as a G220 or a PC but its far cheaper.. shinearama are the cheapest..... £75 and very cheap post... i got a 12kg packet sent to germany for £8... yes £8!!!
  12. i have one that has the speed control and find it far too big and bulky for proper use - also need to use special sized pads not norm available from regular car detail places. ill be selling mine soon i think as i have ordered a proper polisher

  15. there is a bit of up/down play but only a very small bit - less than a mm i would say
  16. move the lever of the valve by hand and ensure it is smooth and not catching anywhere and opens quickly also

  18. looks fine to me mate .................BUT just check the valve operation by hand and that the little R clip on the top doesnt foul anything, that might be the reason u get a sound??? and u need to bent the locking tab for the nut up a bit more so its against the flat face of the nut.

  20. i had a RHD from the uk and brought it over when i moved here - it had the tte kit and i went to bemani to get the certificate for the MFK - bemani had the DTC certification already and bemani certified my car. however because the pipes had TTE on them if caused loads of problems at the MFK.... in the end i had to get a letter from bemani and toyota CH to say the bemani and TTE kit are the same. for taxes you will pay about 8% - i would just buy an is300 if i were you but check with the zoll - give them a call and they will help, there is an import centre in zrh that deals with cars - cant remember the address but the people at the STVA in zurich know it ( tram 13 BTW) and yes u are correct an induction kit is 100% illegal and u will have BIG problems if u were stopped in the random controls they have.
  21. dont bother with the chip.... a chip has never worked properly or proved to be of benefit
  22. i am guessing you are not swiss?? do you know about the DTC certification for major mods like engine change in CH???? your only option without spending your life savings in switzerland for certification after an engine change is go and see bemani at beinwil am see for a compressor kit. will still cost u a fortune tho..... 9,500 chf to be exact (£5,326)
