  1. i doubt the induction kit will make any difference , i suspect it will be worse as its taking hot air from the engine bay rather than "cold" outside air with the standard airbox
  2. no it wont...... 205 is the figure claim from tte. it would have been good to see a before figure so see the actual increase..... who knows maybe the engine was down a little to start with?
  3. i know some lads doing this on motorbikes - now that really is worth the sponsorship!!
  4. you will not find the outer cable in a bike shop - the outer has a special fitting at the throttle end. The normal inner section u can get at a bike shop.
  5. well documented scam - tell them u actually have a mate that lives very close and they will come and look at the car before it is shipped - u will never ge a reply!
  6. Mine snapped during the summer and it didnt get so cold in the winter to effect meatal - the screws are just crap. Patrick - how did u measure the speed of the supercharger pulley??
  7. tell me which watch u want and ill see the price here...it might be worth u flying over for the day and then claiming the tax back on the watch - will prob pay 4 ur flight actually
  8. Take care Ellz, from experience it's the other road users that make you a mobile organ donor. yep and its normally the weekend "power rangers" and born again riders that passed the test and then jump on a bike that they have no idea on how to control and use safely. The amount of cocks i see over here in the mountains (alps, vosges, black forest etc) that fly around and treat the road like a private race track is unbelievable.... most cant handle the bike at all hence road in the black forest are closed to bikes on the weekend :tsktsk:
  9. Nice, i would say everyone should get a bike skills course and also a " first biker on scene" first aid course ( normally free via ur local council or thru road safety partnership) hope u have a very secure park place? if not an almax 4 chain and a hardy ground anchour would be on my shopping list
  10. Yes mate you have the belt sitting in the front 5 grooves on the supercharger pully leaving an empty at the back :) EXACTLY!!! THE BELT NEEDS TO BE AS FAR FORWARD AS POSSIBLE
  11. mesh is part of the bumper so u need to cut it out - i really hope ur not planning on putting the silver boy racer mesh in there as it looks sh**e
  12. www.detailingworld.co.uk is better
  13. no will not make any difference
  14. Yes it does use CANBUS. to a bloody annoying degree as well if your trying to install a standalone ecu! LOL, cars getting far to clever these days. ah really didnt think it didnt use canbus as such must be quite a basic system as most canbus cars dont even have fuse boxes
  15. if u dont have the throttle body seal installed then air will be pising out so im surprised you have any pressure at all. make sure to check the hose clamps at regular intervals and adjust the lowest clamps so u can reach them thru the grille or from under the car with a screwdriver. if u can get a guage it will be far better as u can see straight away if u have a leak. you can take a tapping of some hoses by the throttle body or better is to fit an adaptor into the U bend at the throttle body
  16. well obviously the new radio is not wired correctly... how did u wire it in? did u use the adaptor lead or did u just cut the plugs off and attach the wires?
  17. is200 doesnt use canbus system AFAIK and the 2nd one means u have to desolder the chip from the ECU so dont think many would go for that.
  18. you may find a tensioner for the chain and as suggested by the chain tensioner sliper, i would check the service interval for the chain tension unless its confirmed its an automatic item

hi all i am after a few metres of VHB tape to re attach my lip spoiler - if anyone has some please let me know. thanks rob
  20. Snow mode reduces the sensitivity of the throttle and allows some slippage of the wheels ( or so i have found) trc off is 100% off. remember snow mode is not going to make your car a "go anywhere" machine if you dont have the correct tyres for the conditions.
  21. the video is better than the last one and the sounds isnt normal - check the bypass valve is operationg correctly as it sounds that it is stuck closed.
  22. would say its the top one - just open the box and have a look though - as u press the aerosol button down it locks in place.
