Evening all, trust were having a relaxing weekend and waiting for topgear tonight :D I have condensation in the nearside headlight is there an easy/simple way to resolve this or is it just a case of replacing the caseing? Any suggestions welcome

Thanks for all your comments on this I'm pleased to say a desision was made on this last night, the council development committee decided not to outsource the department, luckilly myself and my team have a close woking relationship with the members and as all you council staff know the members like their home comforts :winky: We spent many hours talking to the right people (councillors making the desision) and having meetings on the sly trying to persuade them to come to the right desision. Now staff (the wrong staff) have found out about these meetings the people who have spent so many man hours on looking at the option of outsourcing and spent a lot of hours on tenders etc are not happy: I recieved a warning letter yesturday to say that we have a standing order within the council that anyone who lobbies councillors regarding jobs/salary/payments or pensions faces disaplinary action I JUST CAN'T WIN HERE

This is a qoute from the email i recieved back this afternoon from autobulbs The conversion kits are a plug and play system however a small hole will have to be made in the dust cap at the back of the headlight unit to allow the wireing loom to fit through. The kits will also improve your light output and vision by 300%. You will also only really need to convert your dipped beam for this reason. Any thoughts on this codlord? My Bluevision bulbs have always lasted very well, I think on my last car I went through 2 pairs in about 4 or 5 years but obviously depends on luck and how much you use them. As for install should be a straight swap - whats that about the hole? Did they say what that was about???

£55 thats criminal I remember reading your post tango your wife was stuck because you were away with the 250 I thought I copied a link on the re programming process of the key fob I guess not maybe it was someone else..... do what I do keep a copy of the re programing in the glove box its happend to me 3 times now REMEBER ALL OTHER DOORS MUST BE LOCKED BEFORE YOU ATTEMP THIS ). With driver's door open put programmed key into ignition, do not turn, then remove it. 2). Within 40 seconds: Press LOCK and then UNLOCK on driver's door switch 5 times at 1 second intervals. Close and open driver's door. 3). Within 40 seconds: Press LOCK and then UNLOCK on driver's door switch 5 times at 1 second intervals. Insert key into ignition and switch ON and OFF: once to keep original remotes, twice to erase original remotes. Remove key from ignition. System will now lock and unlock: once if originals kept, twice if originals erased. 4). Within 40 seconds: Press LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on remote simultaneously for 1.5 seconds. Within 3 seconds press any button on remote for 1 second. Locks should then lock and unlock once. If locks lock and unlock twice restart procedure. 5). Within 40 seconds: Repeat step 4 for additional remotes up to a maximum of 4. To exit programming insert key into ignition or close driver's door. My wife had the same trouble last week with the IS 200 and the Stealership were going to order a new RCU, but re-programmed both master keys + the two button spare and so far so good, they all work. Cost me 55 quid though

I'd just thought i'd share this with you My wife has been talking about driving lessons for some time now wich is fine I told her I would sought her out some block bookings with BSM for her birthday etc etc ok so she went to talk to BSM today and guess what they advise her that if she can get any extra hours practice privatley behind the wheel it won't do any harm Help She now has the vision of practising in my car after telling her it's just not practical in this car i was forced to check out the options i phoned to get a qoute today £144.00 extra on premium hold on a minute I pay nearly £700 a year for that privillege and she comes along and gets it for £144 quid without a real license weres the sense in that anyway thats another matter This was a women that asked me a few months ago on a long journey do you have to press a button to move that stick ill let you work it out............. thanks BSM Does it make me a bad person to be nervous about this? after all it is the wife

Yep phone the local council they can put you through quite dangerous really that looks like a fast road if it was wet that could have easily put you in the barrier Let us know how you get on with the claim
