It all depends on the claim.. if you want to pay £400 but then become messed about on payment, the courtesy car a Fiat Punto (if you even get one) and a nightmare from hell then the £400 is worth it. Lexus are correct in what they are saying... but at least you will get a lexus Courtesy car and a real proper evaluation of your car if it was written off. We have a good Insurance deal at the moment in the gold forums that will give you many benefits that Tesco have to offer.

I cannot think were i got mine from... However, usually from a group buy it is led on that someone from the club has seen the quality of the product. Let's face it.. This club has a reputation that the group buys hold very good quality products. I took a look at the quanan kits and the quality was there to endorse the product. If we were to hold a group buy of say 10 of these then somehwere along the line even if it was one light unit these would need to be inspected. I guess the supplier would need to send a kit over.. Even if it was seriously discounted just so everyone knew that the kit was good for the club to endorse.( the club would pay innitially for the first kit) Otherwise your on your own with these kits and a group buy is not a good choice under the club group buy section. Please let Gordon (GRiM) what you would like to do.

yep! not sure what the X is though. I assumed that after 91 they only made 3.0L as from reading up in my good old' Lexus book..

At last I have made some mods and ripped all of the old factory unit out and replaced it with aftermarket. I am soooo pleased i done this. Here is a pic of the head unit wih the Auto Toys face plate.. very good too http://lexusownersclub.com/gallery/ES-300/headunit Here is a pic of the Alpine 5 Channel Amp.. very nice indeed! This back box was built in so the amp could be screwed properly. http://lexusownersclub.com/gallery/ES-300/amp Here is a pic of the amp and the sub.. the sub is in a temporary box whilst i wait for a custom box to be made so i can shoot the sub through the rear ski hatch For now i have this pointing upwards. http://lexusownersclub.com/gallery/ES-300/ampandsub Here are the pics of the 6 by 9's in the rear.. I chose MB Quartz speakers which are very good quality... superb sound.. bear in mind I have replaced every speaker in the car with MB Quartz.. even the door tweeters http://lexusownersclub.com/gallery/ES-300/speakers I Also had the old amp ripped out and in its place is all the components and circuitry for the speakers. Ie cross over stuff. The whole car was rewired with top quality cable.. I will take more pics of the new sub and some of the wiring very shortly. I am very happy with it so far.. the sound is very good.

not sure what mine is.. just a plastic ring But i was not happy with the taping of the wories.. needed some silver tape... but the rings are ok.. wont know until i fit them

Snowboard Check the plugs on the amp.. give them a wiggle.. the amp should be under the passenger seat I have ripped the whole complete stereo from my ES and Had it all rewired and bought a face plate and went for all aftermarket... better sound and easier to replace things if they go wrong. pictures coming soon
