  6. we have to have fogs here by law. but that doesnt mean we cannot use them for brake lights... easily modified to have either. My import never came with foggies so I have the brake light modified and i switch on the foggies manually. Passes the MOT every time. So why not use the fogs as brake lights on a twin filament basis... ??
  7. ricky_is200 has a point there... it is a numbers game... if the demand was the there then they would supply europe with a Manual IS300
  8. Ahh i was baffled at first (escort came to mind) then worked out that you were talking about the Altezza RS200. Here is the information i found below. This is a stunning example of Japanese engineering, the Altezza in Europe is commonly known as a LEXUS IS200. However, you may find that the Altezza has many hidden extras, for one there is the 210ps engine that has been tuned by BEAMS in Japan, for another the Altezza comes with E-Shift gears on the steering wheel. but no 0-60's :(
  9. did you forget the unleash the dog from the bumper before you left? hehe Only joking.. seems strange why you should smell rubber!
  10. hmm.. the todays post feature does not work properly in Nutscrape.... i am not sure if i intend fixing this as I dont like the way Nutscrape hardly works with anything. Howe ever much i dislike MS, IE seems to work! and most people use IE.
  11. ok.. as you would have noticed that i have made it 6 days.. I have noticed that it is based on per category that has been posted to... not per person... 6 days should be ample.. if not why not :P:P:P
  12. hmm I will look into this.. not sure about last time logged on.. but might be able to make the last 48 hours of posts
  13. Hi and welcome to the Club I have the same problem with my Es/Windom... i have to turn the volume right up to hear the music. Basically the Amp is gone and needs replacing. I havent bothered replacing mine as i intend to replace the whole stereo system with a custom built system.
  14. you can use bbcode to include these.... here is an explation http://www.teamlexus.co.uk/forums/faq.php but these would have to be hosted elsewhere.... to load attatchments you would have to press reply to thread and load a new picture everytime there is no otherway round it.. sorry guys [Edited on 25-2-2002 by Administrator]
  15. I know the feeling very well... i have to remove the windscreens washer bottle to get to my lights... the side lights i have to remove the whole unit!
  16. Just a bit of a survey and would appreciate some feedback on the following feature Does anyone use the "Receive Notifications On Reply - Click Here." Feature on the threads? If not why not? or is there a way that i could change this feature to make it better? Cheers Your pal Admin
  17. i have experienced this problem with bad connections on the connector. Once they get dirty the connectors heat up causing the plastic to expand and then crack. Then the whole connector burns out. :(
  18. As usual weekly upgrades of the club website are performed. Nows a chance for you all to come up with some ideas for the club. Mention as many things as you want and I will try my best to fullfill as many requests as possible. can be small to big ideas! I can more or less do anything! :smug:
  19. skirts I think the club is getting an article next to the editorial
  20. Hmmm.. not sure if i read that right... the pwr button means that when you boot it it kicks down quicker than Norm.. i use this feature everyday and when i am in confrontations with another car and need a quick kickdown to boost me. Other than that i keep it on Norm... the only other thing is the Overdrive switch which takes away the top gear... Best way is to just drop the car in second.. that really does alot of difference.. i redline mine... heheh
  21. What side of the road do you drive on? This matters because it depends where you buy your cd player... if you drive on the right hand side then i will try and loook up a company i know .. if you are left hand drive then you will have to import from the US or an Eastern country
  22. heheh GREAT! lets go for it sammy! The next Meeting is sorted! :)
  23. sammy has a point there.. i was thinking about the big Jap shows.. big time publicity!
