thats a post i made a few months back on another site i recently got my car back ... about 6 days ago . the turbo dose make a huge difference . the car is running on 95 ron fule and is mapped to it also its bhp is now 240 and its torque is also 240 thats at the wheels and im only running at .7bar of boost due to some small issues like needing to replace my exhaust system first the probloms that arrose during this build were mainly the exhaust system and the cluch ( this had been droped during shipping and had cracked ) . im also going to be putting in bigger injectors advice given by the lads from apexi . my breaks are getting better again im going for a big break kit that should be hear early next week along with my new exhaust system now for pics the lads in my car mapping away praise to the raised youtube vid of the engine getting run in / mapped by apexi japan ill now be making a vid of my trip across europe with the modball so ill have better one then . the cars lots of fun to drive now . much better then before tho i have been very carefull / overly carefull in the wet . ive now stopped engine mods ( becides the injectors ) for the next year while i research twin charging . instead ill be sorting out arbs and looking into some sort of cage for the car . i still want the car to be fully road leagl hope ye have enjoyed reading this . please excuse any of my spelling mistakes ye the cars finished :)

i would agree with the otheres also but i dont think there is any need. im sure after this is all done you will sit back into the car go for one last drive and then take the car for a month yourself . if you do decide to sell i wish you good luck with the sale . if you decide to keep it i hope it finally gets the chance to make you smile maby it would be better if you sold the engine seperate to the rest of the car

is there anything i should know before i go looking at a soarer ? what usually breaks ? how good are the turbo's and the engine setup ? im thinking of getting one for a daily run around as i dont do massive mileage and i think they might be good fun ? do they only come as auto's im searching the forums atm

as the above lads said no exhaust system could add that much hp to the car . but ur right its still a beast of a car running at 200 bhp ish

if u pay by paypal and the item dosnt arrive u can complain to paypal and try and have the money refuned to you . at the same time inform the credit card company . basicly ud have to make sure ull have the item within 30 days so u can complain and have it sorted sorry to hear about the engine .

next on the shopping list is a new camera the engine looks very good

im using a pe turbo now . ill send them off a mail see if they come up with any suggestions . im guessing it would bring the probloms with timing belts and superchargers with it as well .

for the moment im just going to look into it . ive just got my turbo so ill have to wait and see how this goes and after then ill decide on what to do ...

is it possible to add a sc to a already turbo'd altezza ? i realise the work involved would be quite alot but is it possible . would the car then need constant engine checks after every outing ? can any kit be used or would it have to be a perticular one ?

anyone who upgrades to vista before the next service pack is a mong . you can quote me on that i was given a mac in work for various things and after 3 months i figured out i hated the mac it was crap . almost as bad as a pc but theres less support for a mac use linux tux forever

think the blue looks a bit out of place but it dose look very nice .

theres a lot of posts about the greddy kit . its very good value for the money but some kits dont come with fmic and the manifold isnt ment to be the best quality . ive gone the way of the power enterprise kit . its cost me about 4500 euros and comes with everything i would need for low boost . you could upgrade ur fule pump and injectors at the same time . i have a list on my wall of everything that can be upgraded and aprox costs . you would be wise upgrading your cluch and flywheel at the same time . getting a power fc or simular ecu would be better then the other system. i took about a year getting the info on the way i was going to go with my car . i ruled out the blitz kit totally as its the most expensive take ur time read loads of posts i made one ages back when i was starting to look for all the parts . think i called it "what to do with the budget given "or simular //edit heres the post http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...=36349&st=0
