coolio.. you may want to check the config of your sub. from your sig it says you have the dual 2 ohm sub . this is either 1ohm or 4ohm when wired up to your bridged amp. 4 ohm is fine just not as powerful but its not 1ohm stable so could cause you some probs. let me know if you need any help with anything mate. OK. Not heard it yet as I let TGT sort the final wiring of the 12v feed and earth, and put in your favourite things 6*9's........................ lol, i did used to have them!! :shutit: will be great to have your modified beast at the show.. its looking like a good day and LOC will do itself proud!

VERDICT its MUCH quicker in changing gear now! it is stiff and a little tiresome in traffic, im hoping it slackens a little?? and there is slightly more road noise, this is easily fixed though. I think i need to have the Hulk with me to get reverse though!! overall it feels much sportier and adds to the driving experience!

not sure.. the cd one is IR and can be taken out of the holder where as the dvd one is hard wired.. its worth a shot i guess but could end up being an expensive doorstop! if i manage to get new door cards to cut up then i would reloacte it there and put the original cup holders in. for now.. THE CUP HOLDERS STAYING!! any suggestions on what might make it more visually appealing? i was thinking of trimming it?

Mine arrived this morning. Rob had offered to help me fit but after looking at stavs walkthrough and the instructionssupplied it looked simple enough and being impatient i decide to do it myself! Wasnt so difficult having had the centre console out a few times already. It feels very stiff and not entirely sure just yet. I saw a pots from Aido saying to 'lube it up' and im assuming he meant the locater part but wasnt sure. Will report back after a drive and with a pic or two!

its not abot how much youve spent mate!! would be good to have you there as a show car even if you dont want to compete..

cheers guys.. it does have to be heard to believe just how good it actually sounds and it really does look oem so im quite pleased with how it turned out. I picked up the rears today so another fews days work and i think these are going to be slightly more difficult.I will have to run these off the HU for now until i can get the amp at the right price.

cheers for all the comments guys.. being off work has given a bit more spare time to get some of the things done i have been meaning to do for ages!! @mrmisteryo: all still on. looks like there are about 6/7 people from LOC attending but will confirm it all a bit closer to the date. Saloon class is going ahead. There will be over 100 show cars there!!

i will be there all day.. a bit closer to the date i will need to get everybodys registration that is going to be on our stand. prob will be limited to 6 but if you are competing then you will be able to get access too. i will be there all day!

lol.. thats the ine problem i have with this set up.. there isnt a great place to put drinks.. i did consider removing the satnav control but ive ran out of places to relocate things!

At the last meet it became clear that i needed lowering..(not me but the car) This was confirmed by Terry 'only GS in the village' Moore and MrMole saying i had a John Deer!! (its a tractor, i had to ask too) So having the motivation to sort it,i trawled through the threads to decide that lowering springs would be fine and settled on TTE springs form Lexus derby for just over £130! my local garage fitted these for £50 and i also fitted new ball joints as the old ones were about dead! i think its about right and once settled should sit perfect.. if i went any lower with all the weight in the boot i would have problems! It feels alot better on the road too! You may also see the veilside exhaust peeking out of the courtesy of aztecbandit and mikey's_IS for fitting it! This has made the car feel so much smoother, pulling away like it should do and sounds fantastic! now just the new B&M shortshifter(bought today!) induction kit and darker tints to go!

Update: retrimmed the centre panel in some new material, added a proper speaker grill and replaced the centre console that was all scratched on the sides.. Cheers to aaron for the trimmimng material.. hopefully i will decide on some rear surrounds soon and start on the c pillars!
