Done indicaters but bottom of headlights not so good .the grey on the bottom had worn of but when i sprayed them thew solvent in the spray took the rest of the paint of so looks even worse now .so will take of all paint and start again.

yes i did and the indicater took about 10 secs to remove and about 5 mins to remove the yellow much easier than i thought .all the bolts are removed on the headlight and it is loose but no room to get it out it is doin me ed in .it is a bit like the rubics cube

Help i have just taken of the indicater but can not remove the headlight there is not enough room do you have to remove the bumper to take out the headlight i need to do this as paint on the bottom of headlight is comming of

We,ll i joined ten minutes ago and it did not really have anything to do with savings as i am not really into modding a car that is in my eyes pretty damm good as it is :D .It was more the fact i was starting to feel a bit guilty using the forums for information and such like without contributing to the cost of running the site.Lets face it it must take a lot of time and effort .Also if they told people which companys offer discount you could just go there yourself and haggle until you got the discount all companys are flexible it is just knowing which ones to aproach.An example is my local dealer they do not accept gold and as i was told never will but when i said i would go elsewere they gave me discount of 20% :) .Still to dear for a small service on a 7 year old posh toyota though.

Just been to halfords to buy a radar detection thingy and could not decide which one to get out of the snooper and the angel so decided to see if anyone on the site has one and what one you think is the best ,the angel is priced at £400 and the snooper at £500 .Are they worth the money or a waste of time

He called the service the 945006.The last one was the cambelt 60,000 but the car had only done about 29,000 it has now done 39,000.

I had a message on my computer the other day that kept on shutting it down .it gave me 60secs everytime i turned it on then it just turned off the computer .Could this have been a virus the only way to rid it was to download an update from microsoft site but realy do not know what it was or how i got rid of it just presumed it was won of the updates that i downloaded that did the trick :iraqi-info-minister:

Just booked car in for B service (small one ) Quoted £211 is this a good price and has anyone had it done cheaper elsewere .It has to be done by lexus due to warrenty

The problem is a soliciter costs big bucks and my insurance is not interested in taking on the case as it is not covered by the policy.I am also with the aa and they do not cover this either .I think if it go,s to court my wife could end up with more than a £60 fine and 3 points as she was 20mph over the limit in a 40mph zone ,Time to cut my loses me thinks and buy her a ford KA . :D

I would wait for a non imported one as you can never tell wether the mileage is right it could have done 164k for all you know they just don,t show the miles .How cheap is it

My wife was caught doin 60mph in a 40mph zone on the a20 sidcup a couple of months ago and we have tried everything to wriggle out of it like not signing the form they send and saying we do not know who was driving .They just keep on sending the form through and the latest one states we have 30 days or it goe,s to court .I consulted a solicator and the costs involved in going to court are steep .I think this is how footballers and alike get away with it as they have the money to throw at it were as joe public dos,ent .So i think i will pay the £60 fine to pay for even more cameras in places we realy do not need them while schools and other busy places that realy need them go without .

Someone once told me the only way to get your wheels balanced properly is to have them balanced while still on the car .Anyone had this done or was this bloke talking rubbish as i have never found a garage that can do it

The cameras on the blue poles take a pic at one point and then a few miles down the road take another pic and calculate your speed between the two points.So i supose it is poss to go through one at a very high speed then pull over to the hard shoulder wait a minute and then carry on to the next one.I see a motor bike go through a camera yesterday on one wheel with his finger in the air and get this someone on the BACK :o .oH AND THESE CAMERAS were ON THE M20 towards dover and folkstone so anyone doing a trip to france beware.
