    Well, I bought my 51 plate IS200 just under 2 years ago now. I love it to bits, but am gutted at what I see is over the top depreciation. I bought it for £10,000 (- £1500 trade in for my Volvo S40). I was told that they didn't depreciate the same way as Fords etc. Now I see prices as low as £3500-£4000 for similar cars. My baby is immaculate, FSH etc and treated with great respect, so, not happy about value. Anyone any thoughts on this?? Col...

    I've never noticed the VVTi kicking in.. what should happen??? Col?? get your self on a motorway 2nd gear all the way through the rev range. then 3rd whilst in 2nd gear check for vvti swap over. should be smooth but very noticiable. bearing in mind, keep to the speed limits ;) but make sure u dont have the snow feature enabled. Listen for any ... miss fires, or anything else.

    Hey, wot a flippin rip off, I never new that's why postage was so expensive. I'll remeber that one for sure.. Col... I saw those when I was looking, but was put off by him trying the old postage rip-off trick, no need to send recorded. :tsktsk: whats the postge rip off trick? sorry if i sound silly... In order to lower the 'asking' price for the goods, some sellers inflate the postage needed, which isn't refundable should the item be returned as it is not part of the 'price' so they still make money out of it anyway.

    I use meguiars full treatment. But before I do, I use the clay bar stuf. Itis great, easy to use, removes scratches and swirls.. The Meguiars 1, 2, 3 treatment works wonder and out-classes Autoglym on all fronts. Col..

    Any advice on how to paint my calipers. Would like them red with Lexus decals. Do I use Hamerite paint. Do I have to take the calipers off? Should primer be used first? Where do i get the Lexus decals? Tips and advice would be really really appreciated. Ta a lot.. Col... :D
