    Well, I'm 53, AND I have white hair (since 40), I do have a stick, but I only use it to beat cheeky beggars who call me OLD!!!! I feel like a 19 year old too... (but I can't catch one now!! LOL) Col.. I'm 37 matey so not a young as some on here but it helps a lot with the insurance :D

    I got 422 miles out of a tank at the weekend before the petrol light came on. Mix of town, motorwy and country road driving. That's the best I've had. Mind you it had just had a full service and new Denso IK20 plugs. Soooooo pleeeezed. Col. :D

    57K on a late 51 plate. FSH, belts changed, FSH. had it nearly 2 years now and it is a dream machine. Luvleeeeeeee. Also, just had the full meguires treatment and it is gleaming.... Stuff Autoglym from now on... Col. :winky: :D

    Must admit I fill up one tank full Shell optimax then one tank ordinary and keep alternating. I find this give me smooth running and good mpg. I got 422 miles on a tank last weekend and the petrol light had just come on. Don't use Asda crap, I find it knocks the running and smoothness to pot. Anyways, if you get the Shell points card, you can save on refills every now and again too. Oh and by the way, I wasn't doing pipe and slippers driving to get the good mpg return.. :winky: Col....

    Got mine from Lexus Aberdeen for 35 squidlies - fitted for nowt. Lexus Aberdeen are one of the best dealers, if not THE best I have dealt with. Col :winky:

    Mostly they are a waste of money unless you've got a really gunged up system. Don't forget that there are already fuel additives (detergents) that are already added to the fuel that you buy, and, these should be sufficient to keep your engine and injectors working properly. So.. keep yer dosh mate.... Col... :winky:

    Good decision to go for a Lexus. They go on for ever as long as they are looked after. High mileage isn't really a worry as long as it has been properly serviced and maintained, which, it sounds as if it has. Some bits can be expensive for the Lexus, but at the end of the day you are paying for quality stuff which tends to last. Maybe you could find one with lower mileage for your money, but, you may find it has been thrashed or not looked after well. It's you decision at the end of the day, so, best of luck and I hope you geat a great one that gives you as much pleasure as mine. Col..

    I'm no expert, but could it be coming from the diff'? Maybe worn or dryish? Personally, I don't use the hanbrake when my pride and joy is parked on flat. I just stick it 1st gear and leave it that way. Hope u get to the bottom of it quick as i know these things can niggle at you a bit. Col
